Avoid the blast at ground level, jumping away from it, arms extended for balance (dirty undershirt optional) -
Bruce Willis in Die Hard (1988)
Avoid the blast atop a skyscraper. If possible, tie a fire hose around your waist and jump off the top of the building to safety (dirty undershirt optional) -

Run away from the blast. -

Run away from the blast with that special someone, preferably holding a weapon. -
