Poll: Who Said Women Aren't Funny? (Part 2)
In the era of Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Kate McKinnon, Wanda Sykes, and so many others, it's hard to believe that anyone would say that. There was a time, however, when many did: perhaps most famously, Jerry Lewis. The truth, though, is that there have always been funny women, from Lucille Ball to Carol Burnett and many others. To celebrate Women's History Month, which of these women most disproves the assertion that "women aren't funny?"
