Out of the 100 all-time greatest American movies according to the American Film Institute, only 24 were not nominated for the Best Picture Oscar despite the fact that they were eligible and had gained iconic status shortly after their release. Assuming that most of these movies deserved at least a Best Picture nod, which one, would you say, should have actually won the Oscar? They were 29 when we were celebrating IMDb's 29th anniversary last year and (coincidentally) 25 when it all started 5 years ago (time flies by the way)... But it seems that 30 marks a serious turning point as far as acting nominations go because we have this year more than 40 actors who've been nominated so far at the age of 30, an observation that prompted us to separate between nominees and winners in order to have less than 35 entries in each poll. November is recognized annually as Adoption Awareness Month.
