Malcolm in the Middle is getting a 4-episode revival coming to Disney+, and it's set to reunite most of the starring cast of the original sitcom. However, Erik Per Sullivan will not be reprising his role as fan-favorite character Dewey, as it was recently reported that his role has been recast.

While Per Sullivan declined to come out of retirement to play an older Dewey, fans still have a chance to see what the former child star looks like as an adult many years after he stepped away from acting. Per People, the 33-year-old was recently spotted in a rare public sighting with images making their way online. Some images feature Per Sullivan strolling with a cup of coffee in hand while wearing a peacoat and cap combo, while another shows the retired actor smiling brightly as he carries two paper bags on a shopping trip.
