The premise is an interesting one, an alternate reality thanks to Walt Disney, along with a pretty good cast, a good storyline this should have been awesome! But it just wasn't. It seemed to go on forever and ever, Its quite a tiring watch, the lead's back story is focused on quite heavily, (Milli Bobby Browns character) which was sentimental and yet made zero emotional impact, where as Chris Pratts character actually had a more interesting storyline! I would much rather have seen that, it's explained but I think they missed a trick here. Millie Bobby Brown I unfortunately find quite dull and lacking here, I REALLY want to like her acting, but sadly the hype doesn't translate to quality.

This movie is designed to shock and appall and get you really thinking about modern beauty standards and what you will do in order to achieve that standard.

This film subjects you, the viewer to many aspects of modern society and how aesthetics based we are, and that our worth is determined by our beauty. It's a narrative on all that is wrong with modern beauty standards on social media and in on billboards and in magazines, it's shocking and yes so what the last 20 minutes descend into a Cronenberg nightmare, but shouldn't it???

The moral of the story, in my humble opinion, be careful what you ask for. You might just get it.
