What is real? What is fake? It honestly feels like I watched a fever dream of a movie. I understand this is a psychological horror portrayed very well by Naomi Scott and to be honest she really carries this movie as well as the cinematography. I can see smile 2 being a great movie if you never seen the first one. As someone who already watch the first movie I think I just wanted a bit more lore on this maybe demonic entity or a different outcome at least. The first film already showed that this entity alters the perception of time and reality for the host. With that knowledge made the movie very predictable and unsatisfying realizing that what she was experiencing was all fake and in her head. Kind of made me feel like I wasted my time a bit knowing she going to die regardless. As a pop star the ending was definitely predictable in my opinion but I think it sets up the next movie well. The movie by itself is good but i just wanted something more different for the first Smile. Just my opinion and thoughts.
