    A great space science fiction film, great effects, the philosophical debates are pleasant and short, good dialogues, great actors, surrealist, some distorted images are disturbing, human lacerations and crystallizations are adorable, the religious issues are somewhat exaggerated, but interesting, Darwin versus God, it goes a bit wrong, but nothing that harms the final balance, criticized for scientific inaccuracy, but who cares? The vast majority of moviegoers are laymen... Lovely...

    In the year 2057, the Sun is about to go out and, along with it, humanity. Earth's last hope is the Icarus II, a spaceship manned by eight men and women, led by Captain Kaneda. Its mission: to transport equipment designed to rekindle the sun. In the middle of the journey, without contact with Earth, the astronauts hear a worrying radio message from Icarus I, which had disappeared while trying to perform the same mission seven years earlier. A terrible accident puts the mission at risk and soon they find themselves fighting not only for their lives and their sanity, but for the future of all of us...
