Starring a group of college students who seemingly steal jet skis only to have their karma get back on them. The characters are the standard stereotypical college party type we are familiar with none truly standing out. We identify with the lead actress as she's the nice, and seemingly innocent one of the bunch.
The shark doesn't show up relatively too early on and throughout its appearance, it certainly teases its attacks on the characters. Where there were plenty of instances where the shark could have easily gotten them all but it would simply attack and bite one character or part of the jet ski then disappear.
The majority of the film is simply these characters stranded on the jet ski then one by one the shark takes each one out. Nothing thrilling as the shark was very cgi fake looking.
