I didn't realise (before paying my $16 and walking into the cinema) that it was a different writer director. Some people on here have mentioned that it made a good sequel as well as a good second film: I respectfully disagree. I think it would make a fantastic video game. I think it portrayed the US soldiers as being rude and mean and sadistic and stupid. Maybe this was the big political comment in this movie: that invading US forces mess things up by virtue of their stupidity?
I think that I was expecting more from the movie.
Everyone who said that you shouldn't expect much of this movie were overstating things, I think.
