If you are a fan of pub quizzes, and have a good knowledge of the news events in the world, entertainment, TV, film, music, sport, technology and science, politics and much more in the year gone by, then this is a great show to watch and have fun with. Hosted by Jimmy Carr, with celebrity panellists in three teams: Jonathan Ross and Lily Allen (Fulham), David Mitchell and Rob Brydon (The Shadow Cabinet), and Russell Brand and Noel Fielding (The Goth Detectives). This quiz focused on the year 2007, with all sorts of questions to answer about the past twelve months. These questions are asked as they are, with video and sound clips, with pictures (including Say What You See), and by celebrity and mystery guests on screen or in the studio, so it really does feel like a proper quiz that you can take part in. Events in the year 2007 that were questioned and joked about, and mentioned (or pictured) included: the controversial racism row in Celebrity Big Brother with Jade Goody and Shilpa Shetty, Britney Spears shaving all her hair off, David and Victoria Beckham moving to Los Angeles to play for the LA Galaxy football team, the ITV phone competitions scandals, an airline passenger apparently sitting next to a corpse on his British Airways flight, Stephen Hawking going on a zero gravity flight, Hugh Grant arrested for throwing baked beans at the paparazzi, Hell's Kitchen with Marco Pierre White, Skins, Secret Diary of a Call Girl with Billie Piper, I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, mystery guest Paul Croft who has a tattoo of Professor Dumbledore from Harry Potter during the time J.K. Rowling announced Dumbledore was gay, Gordon Ramsay, John Smeaton who helped stop a terrorist attack at Glasgow International Airport, Take That (Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Jason Orange) who had their hit single "Rule the World", and Radiohead lead singer Thom Yorke. The jokes and the questions are what make this show so much fun, they always choose the right celebrity panellists, and it works as a funny way to reminisce on the recent events you remember, a great comedy quiz show.
