I can't see past the identical twins. Unlike the original, the 2 actresses look absolutely nothing alike. The age difference doesn't stretch any imagination into believing about 3 ft in height & completely different features.
It's just a nonsense. Someone must of seen the obvious flaws in the twin casting. If so, why not say anything? They could of cast a 6ft 4" black fella or better still a turtle under a blonde wig to play the role, would make as much sense!
It's clearly a rip-off. Nevertheless I'm not against rip-offs per se, as long as they're well conceived & written. Sadly The Returned is not. It's trying to do too much. It's too clever for it's own good or the writers aren't imaginative enough to keep up.
