• Warning: Spoilers
Been looking forward to this since I first heard about it being made & have been excited to see what this new chapter would bring!

The film was pretty good! Like they've billed the film as, it IS the darkest chapter & has some pretty intense moments!

The story follows a teenage girl called Quinn, who lives with her father & brother. Quinn & her family are still slightly grieving over the loss of their mum who died from cancer. Quinn goes to Lin's house to try & contact her but awakens a spirit which attaches it'self to Quinn when she attempt to contact her mum alone which triggers a deadly chain of events!

Though the jumps scares were abit "been there done that", they were pretty sh!t bricking & got me a couple of times! I'd have to say the film was pretty dark, creepy & scary! If this film didn't have these "cliche's" which nit picking idiots call them, then the film would suck! So called "Cliche's" are what make these films! But yeah! They were good!

The film also once again has the 2 ghost buster wannabe's Specs & Tuck from the first 2 films! Which added to the Insidious Film Franchise feel!

The ending I think opened the door pretty well for a 4th chapter, so let's hope for an Insidious: Chapter 4!

I overall found this film to be pretty good! Though I'm not a big fan of the supernatural side of the franchise I found it pretty satisfying & was a dark film with plenty of jumps scares, tension & suspense! Not to mention the gorgeous actress Stefanie Scott!

    9/10
