I watched the ugly breakup of the E! channel circle around Joan Rivers, after her tragic and unexpected demise, with such sadness. I am so glad to have Guiliana back. She has such a unique personna, equally comfortable talking about fashion and cancer recovery, that somehow provides the perfect balance between appropriate gravitas and celebratory girliness.
