Metropolitan opera soprano Grace Moore stars in this melodramatic biopic loosely based on the life of Jenny Lind. Known as the Swedish Nightingale, Lind was an enormously popular opera singer in the 19th century, made even more so when she toured America under the direction of the great circus man P.T. Barnum. Moore's voice is beautiful, but the film is middling and tells us little about what made LInd such a sensation.
