This is a heartbreaking film about a young couple dealing with a loss of their child after a home birth gone wrong. Vanessa Kirby plays Martha gives an Oscar worthy performance as a woman struggling to deal with her grief and trying to move on. She displays such beautiful depth of acting dimensions to her character. The performance is the best I have seen in a long time. Ellen Burysten as her mother is very good as well trying to help her daughter deal with her grief. She has a very emotional show stopper scene that is worthy of a best supporting actress nomination. Shia Labeouf is also very effective as Sean, Martha's husband who is also struggling to deal with his grief as well. The film is not easy to watch, but it is a very rewarding experience, I thought the story was an interesting topic to deal with and I believe it is one of the best films of 2020. I highly recommend it.
