This movie had me going through it. As a black man who has had cops guns in my face more than once and also having been beaten by police officers, this movie opened up old psychological wounds.
Some of the dialog was a little trite. Still, it makes you feel. That is why many non blacks who see this movie seem to not like it. They are not comfortable feeling what I've been feeling for the last 45 or so years.
