Surely this was made for students studying cinematography/screen writing/directing...
A world leading demonstration of how to ruin a franchise (okay so there was only 1 Megamind) or how not to make a sequel.
The animation is woeful, the dialogue is weak and fails on every level. Animation - think 1990s low cost kids CGI. Comedy - fail. Plot - fail. Conviction/believability - fail. All around watchability - fail.
The original Megamind is a classic. The movie title alone would drag many viewers in with the expectation that this movie would, at least, bring some of the original fun... It doesn't.
Avoid... unless you are studying the don'ts of movie craft.
