• Alejandro Jorodowski, not only put the entire concept of transparent and transversal cinema in the extension of his word but also includes symbolism and various types of propaganda throughout the film, emphasizing everything from criticism towards religion to politics or my favorite emphasis towards a spiritual journey throughout the mountain searching for being and non-being Jorodowski was a visionary but he was also a pretentious poet with delusions of persecution and perhaps that is what is fascinating about this man with ideas that are too psychotic and sinversive.

Jorodowski's cinema is very fascinating because of how he does it and how he has such extravagant creative freedom. Perhaps the most unique thing about his style is how he emphasizes Christ and his libertarian representation and perhaps at the end of the day this film will not be easy to digest the first time you see it, but it would be an experience that you could never forget.

Personally I stay with El Topo, because at least I feel like that movie is a little more digestible because of its story and its hero's journey.
