• Warning: Spoilers
For the most part, I can use the review I posted for the first chapter of this Trilogy of films.

This particular chapter is hampered by the same pacing issues. The dialogue is awful & slow. Hampering the flow of the entire film. In addition, valuable time is wasted developing character interactions (such as the Monitor eating) vs true development or plot advancement. It is painful!

First off-- I know the comics COIE---this is not that story & that is fine. Just be aware it's different & to temper your expectations. It's a mostly original story with a few key plot points--anti monitor wave destroying alternate earths.

It is the execution of this new story that is truly baffling. The plot often becomes muddled--over explanation - - saying vs showing is rampant. As if the Director felt the audience might now understand what they're seeing & that is entirely possible. Some minor points--meaningless character interactions or action scenes are drawn out... And the details are painful.

The dialogue is a crime unto itself. Not sure if it's the sound editor or some other party, but every line is spoken or painfully read, devoid of anima. Then a long pause, then another line is read. Every conversation drags on in this fashion. A line is said, a very long pause and then a response is heard.

The pacing due to the dialogue is is absolutely broken.

I would skip this film & watch the Super Friends instead.
