Zichuan Wang, the writer/director, presents a unique portrayal of a third grader in a Chinese school, setting it apart from other third graders worldwide. Wang's debut as a budding film director shows great promise, with exceptional work in cinematography, screenplay, and editing. Hao Yue, portraying Zhu Tong, brings the character to life in a remarkable manner. Despite being unspoiled and naive, Zhu Tong faces challenges, particularly when his imagination takes over during his trial period at a new school.
I highly suggest this film to those with third or fourth graders at home. It is sure to entertain and bring laughter to all who watch.
