• Warning: Spoilers
Ruby (Elizabeth Gillis) is a temp who wants to work in the publishing industry. She is outspoken and gets fired from her job. Behind on the rent, cut off from her parents, Ruby is desperate work work and accepts a job at "Spread" magazine doing inventory on adult toys. The publication is tanking and she mentions using apps and social media for promotion. It is her job to turn the place around.

I liked the characters in this comedy. Harvey Keitel is the publisher. Diedrich Bader was over-the-top as Ruby's father who takes an interest in her work to Ruby's dismay. While the film has a sexual theme and language I would not classify it as porn.

    Guide: F-word. Sex. Magazine nudity.
