Abdolreza Kahani is an award-wining Iranian director. He has a Master of Art in theatre from the University of Tehran. Kahani's career began by making experimental short films and documentaries at the age of thirteen. His first feature film "Dance with the Moon" was debuted in 2004. Kahani created eight feature films in his home country Iran, however, Some of his last films were banned from screening due to censorship laws. This left him with no choice but to leave Iran and move to France in 2015. However, despite the Iranian regime's antagonism against Kahani's works, his films were very successful both domestically and internationally, wining many awards from international film festivals such as Karlovy Vary and Thessaloniki. Since he left Iran, Kahani has been actively making films in various countries such as Thailand, France, and Canada. Today, Kahani considers himself a nomad director with having no belonging to one place or country. She was chosen from 93 contestants from all over the world. She had promoted herself as wanting to be a computer scientist as well as a super model. Runners up were Zerelda Lee (Miss Aruba) and Juilet Horne (Miss Scotland). The event was hosted by U.S. TV talk show personality Jerry Springer, and was beamed to a projected global television audience of 1.2 billion people. The beauty gala was held in Sun City, at South Africa's Kingdom of Pleasure, a luxury resort of casinos and wild animals. Darego won a total cash prize of $100,000, plus gifts valued at $150,000. She was quoted with this statement "black is beautiful", moments before being crowned.
Directed to email addresses and local telephone numbers, TV viewers for the first time took part in the voting. Emails were for questions to contestants, the phone for registering votes. Pageant organizers refused to disclose the weight of the votes of viewers.
Miss Agbani Darego hails from Rivers State in Nigeria. Today the governor of Rivers State, His Excellency, Peter Odili, congratulated her, on her great achievement. Governor Odili called her achievement "an expression of the natural endowment of the people of Rivers State and noble qualities of Nigerian womanhood." He went further that the historic feat was "symbolic of the spirit of the new Nigerian nation and renaissance of our cultural values."
The Miss World contest was founded by British entrepreneur, Eric Morley in 1951. Morley died last year weeks before the 50th anniversary celebration of the event. There have only been three winners from Africa since the inception of the event and two of them were white South Africans (1958 and 1974). The third, was from Arab Egypt (1954). Klebanoff is founder of Hirschhorn Klebanoff Entertainment, his film development, production and entertainment company based in New York City established in August, 2020. Klebanoff is founder of Linked Media, his post-production services, art department services, marketing and promotions company established in August, 2020. He has since released "The Decipio" directed by Jason Gullifer starring Klebanoff, Deon Williams, and Sandy Mölling. The film won a total of 42 Awards and received 18 Award nominations, for which Klebanoff won thirty-four Awards, and has been nominated for eleven Awards. He gained recognition from the juries of film festivals across the United States, Canada, and Europe on the competitive festival circuit.

He has a former career in the commercial art world, the fine art industry, within all of the major areas in the business side in Manhattan, New York City, NY. In 2004, he worked for Elizabeth Szancer Kujawski, the curator and consultant for Ronald Lauder at the time. He assisted with management of the collection of art of Ronald Lauder known as: "The Ronald S. Lauder Collection". He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Bard College in New York. In 2006, he was hired by then President Pierre Levai of leading global art gallery Marlborough Gallery.
