Actress and model Teresa Palmer has gathered some impressive film credits. She was born in Adelaide, South Australia, to Kevin Palmer, an investor, and Paula Sanders, a former missionary and nurse. She completed high school at Mercedes College in 2003, where she was a popular student who was well-known for her practical jokes. She worked in a Cotton On outlet in Rundle Mall until she was discovered and cast on the spot--without an audition--in her feature film debut and breakthrough role in 2:37 (2006). Made by first-time writer/director/producer Murali K. Teresa immediately went to work on back-to-back film projects including December Boys (2007) opposite "Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe--a coming-of-age story about four adolescent orphans, based on the book by Michael Noonan and directed by Rod Hardy (Robinson Crusoe (1997), Buffalo Girls (1995), The X-Files (1993) and The Practice (1997)). She also starred as stripper-turned-criminal "Dale" in the British/Australian co-production Restraint (2008), a film noir/psychological thriller that follows the plight of a pair of fugitives on the run from a murder scene. Directed by David Denneen, the film also features former Calvin Klein model Travis Fimmel and British actor Stephen Moyer. In 2006 Teresa worked with Japanese director Takashi Shimizu on the Sony Pictures production The Grudge 2 (2006). Set in Tokyo, the horror sequel to the box-office hit The Grudge (2004) also starred Sarah Michelle Gellar and Jennifer Beals. Later that year Teresa signed on to play the female lead in Doug Liman's action fantasy film Jumper (2008), but was subsequently replaced by Rachel Bilson.

Early 2007 saw her star opposite former boyfriend Topher Grace as the love interest in the retro comedy film Take Me Home Tonight (2011). Shortly after filming ended, Teresa decided to move permanently from Adelaide to Los Angeles following a public split from her then-boyfriend of two years, Australian Rules football star Stuart Dew. Teresa was due to play a small part in George Miller's doomed superhero film "Justice League: Mortal", but the production fell through after months of problems. Samara Weaving was born on February 23, 1992 in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia, but spent the years after that moving around from Singapore, Fiji, Indonesia, and back to Australia with her family. During that time, she attended grade school in Jakarta, Indonesia, eventually going to Pittwater House School in Australia in 2004 prior to then joining the Canberra Girls' Grammar School. With a life of such hectic moving around, it should come as no surprise that the actress spent much time along the way performing in short films, dance and stage shows, and even with the Singapore Dance Company and Canberra Youth Theatre. From here, she went on to star in the 2015 TV movie Squirrel Boys (2015) and followed that up in a big way with a major role in 2015's Monster Trucks (2016) alongside veteran actors such as Rob Lowe and Danny Glover. Samara also models for Australian underwear brand, Bonds.

Sarah Snook was born and raised in Adelaide, South Australia. Showing promise in performing arts at a young age, Sarah was awarded a scholarship to study drama at Scotch College, Adelaide. After high school, she was accepted in to the prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting).

On stage, Sarah made her West End debut in 2016 alongside Ralph Fiennes in The Old Vic's production of Henrik Ibsen's "The Master Builder".

In 2017 Sarah wrapped on two Australian productions, Winchester (2018) and Brothers' Nest (2018), and was in New York later in 2017 to shoot the first season of HBO series, Succession (2018).

Kodi Smit-McPhee started acting at the age of 9. He dropped out of high school in his first year to pursue acting and currently resides in Los Angeles as does his father Andy McPhee and sister Sianoa Smit-McPhee, who are also actors.

He made his feature film debut alongside Eric Bana in 2007's "Romulus, My Father," which earned him the Young Actor's Award by the Australian Film Institute.

The 2014 film "Young Ones" (dir: Jake Paltrow) premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and co-starred Michael Shannon, Nicholas Hoult and Elle Fanning.

Smit-McPhee premiered 2015's "Slow West" (dir. John MacLean) at the Sundance Film Festival, in which he stars opposite Michael Fassbender and Ben Mendelsohn. The film received the World Cinema Grand Jury Prize.

In 2016, Smit-McPhee portrayed the role of Nightcrawler in "X-Men: Apocalypse" and will reprise his role in "X-Men: Dark Phoenix" (2019).

Smit-McPhee next stars alongside Peter Sarsgaard in the CBS All Access series "Interrogation", which features non-linear true-crime storylines. He also will star in the Netflix film "Dolemite is My Name" out later this year.

Liam McIntyre is an Australian actor best known for playing the lead role in the Starz television series Spartacus: Vengeance and Spartacus: War of the Damned. McIntyre began his career acting mainly in short films, before performing guest roles in Australia's popular television series Rush and Neighbours. McIntyre made his US television debut guest starring in an episode of the award nominated HBO mini-series The Pacific. After his 2010 diagnosis of Non-Hodgkins lymphoma, original Spartacus lead actor Andy Whitfield took what was intended to be a temporary break from filming the title role for the Starz television series. Whitfield later withdrew from the role entirely when his cancer recurred, prior to his death. He was then replaced by McIntyre, who performed the title role for the remaining two seasons. Production on the second season of Spartacus resumed in the fall of 2011 and the series premiered on 27 January 2012.

Anthony wanted to be a soccer player but he didn't have the skills so he taught in a school for 10 months until he realized that it wasn't his vocation and then spent some years working in a shoe store before moving to New York where he spent time as a barman and a sprinkler system installer to earn money for acting classes. By 1988 he was on the New York stage and was seen by a casting director who some time later put him in Frasier as Simon Moon.

Tilda Cobham-Hervey (born September 4, 1994) is an Australian actress from Adelaide, South Australia, with a background in circus and physical theatre. Starting from the age of nine, Cobham-Hervey trained and performed in the Adelaide-based youth circus performance troupe Cirkidz for seven years, and was involved in five major productions. When Tilda performed in the circus, her specialties were hula hoop, trapeze and acrobatic pitching, but the emphasis was theatrical, and the focus was on storytelling.

She attended Marryatville High School. In 2009, she became a founding member of an Adelaide circus group called Gravity and Other Myths where she co-devised a show called Freefall, which won the Adelaide Fringe's "Best Circus" award in 2010, the festival's Tour Ready award in 2011 and later that year won "Best Circus" in the Melbourne Fringe Festival, and she won the festival's award for "Best Emerging Circus/Physical Theatre Performer" in 2011. Cobham-Hervey also performed with Force Majeure in The Age I'm In, a show which was part of the 2008 Sydney and Adelaide festivals, and toured to 17 regional cities in Australia, and toured in Ireland, Canada and Korea.

In 2014 Cobham-Hervey made her film debut at the age of 19 in 52 Tuesdays (2013) a critically acclaimed independent film directed by Sophie Hyde. Film was released at the Sundance Film Festival, Cobham-Hervey was signed by Creative Artists Agency (CAA), a major talent agency in the United States, and by United Management in Australia.

In 2012, Cobham-Hervey played the supporting role in Projector Films' feature One Eyed Girl (2013). In 2013 she created and performed the front-of-house entertainment at the Adelaide Festival club, Barrio, and in 2014, starred in the "Find Wonderful" television commercial for the re-launch of the Myer brand, filmed in New Zealand over three days.

In 2016, Cobham-Hervey appeared in her first play as Rosie Price in Things I Know To be True, which was written by Andrew Bovell for a co-production between State Theatre Company of South Australia and UK's Frantic Assembly.

Cobham-Hervey played the role of Kitty in the six-part TV series F*%#Ing Adelaide (2017), which premiered at the Adelaide Film Festival in October 2017 and screened on ABC national television as well as view from 2018.

Tilda's directorial debut, a short film commissioned by the ABC and Screen Australia as part of the ABC ME Girls Initiative, premiered simultaneously at the 2017 Adelaide Film Festival and on ABC Me on 11 October 2017, the UN's International Day of the Girl. Made by Sophie Hyde's Closer Productions in Adelaide, A Field Guide to Being a 12-Year-Old Girl (2017) was awarded the prestigious Crystal Bear for Best Short Film by the Youth Jury of the 68th Berlin International Film Festival's Generation KPlus Section in February 2018.

She appeared in the 2018 film Hotel Mumbai (2018), and starred as feminist icon Helen Reddy in the 2019 biopic I Am Woman (2019).

In 2021, she devised an interactive theatre piece entitled Two Strangers Walk into a Bar which was premiered in the Adelaide Fringe and had a later season at MOD., a South Australian "futuristic museum of discovery".

Sia Kate Isobelle Furler (born 18 December 1975) is an Australian singer, songwriter, record producer and music video director. She started her career as a singer in the acid jazz band Crisp in the mid-1990s in Adelaide. In 1997, when Crisp disbanded, she released her debut studio album titled OnlySee in Australia, but it did not sell well. She moved to London, England, and provided lead vocals for the British duo Zero 7.

In 2000, Sia released her second studio album, Healing Is Difficult, the following year but was displeased with the promotion of the record. She released her next studio album, Colour the Small One, in 2004, but it struggled to connect with a mainstream audience. Sia relocated to New York City in 2005 and toured in the United States. Sia executive produced Brooke Candy's debut EP, Opulence, released in May 2014, and co-wrote 3 songs on the EP. In July 2014, Sia released her own sixth studio album, 1000 Forms of Fear. She again collaborated with Greg Kurstin. The album debuted at No. 1 in the US Billboard 200 with first-week sales of 52,000 copies. By October 2015, it was certified gold by the RIAA denoting 500,000 equivalent-album units sold in the United States. The record peaked at No. 1 in Australia and reached the top ten of charts in numerous European regions. It was certified silver by the British Phonographic Industry and gold by the Australian Recording Industry Association. By early 2016, the album had sold 1 million copies worldwide.

In June 2016, Sia gave a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, featuring Ziegler. From May to August, Sia performed in nearly a dozen festival and other concerts in America and European and Middle Eastern countries, including Portugal, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Hungary, Romania, Poland, the United Kingdom, Russia, Lebanon and Israel. In September 2016, she released a single, "The Greatest", with vocals from American hip hop recording artist Kendrick Lamar. A video was released the same day featuring Ziegler - the dancer's fifth video collaboration with Sia and Heffington. The two performed the song with several other dancers, and also performed "Chandelier", live the next day at the Apple annual fall event, drawing media attention. In 2017, Sia moved from RCA to Atlantic Records. She released a new album, Everyday Is Christmas, on Atlantic and Monkey Puzzle on 17 November 2017. The album features original songs co-written and co-produced with Kurstin. She promoted it by releasing the single "Santa's Coming for Us" and by the track "Snowman", which she performed during the finale of the 13th season of The Voice and on The Ellen DeGeneres Show together with Ziegler. In November 2018, Sia released the deluxe edition of the album, containing three bonus tracks, as a Target exclusive.

In 2018, Sia collaborated with English musician Labrinth and American DJ/record producer Diplo, under the name LSD, to release four songs. In November 2018, these tracks were collectively released as an EP called Mountains on Spotify.

Sia, who is a vegan, participated in an advertisement for PETA Asia-Pacific, with her dog, Pantera, to encourage pet neutering. Sia has also joined other publicly known figures for the "Oscar's Law" campaign, in protest against large-scale pet breeding. Other advocates include singers Jon Stevens, Paul Dempsey, Rachael Leahcar and Missy Higgins. Dame Judith Anderson was born Frances Margaret Anderson on February 10, 1897 in Adelaide, South Australia. She began her acting career in Australia before moving to New York in 1918. There she established herself as one of the greatest theatrical actresses and was a major star on Broadway throughout the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s. Her notable stage works included the role of Lady Macbeth, which she played first in the 1920s, and gave an Emmy Award-winning television performance in Macbeth (1960). Anderson's long association with Euripides' "Medea" began with her acclaimed Tony Award-winning 1948 stage performance in the title role. She appeared in the television version of Medea (1983) in the supporting character of the Nurse.

Anderson made her Hollywood film debut under director Rowland Brown in a supporting role in Blood Money (1933). Her striking, not conventionally attractive features were complemented with her powerful presence, mastery of timing and an effortless style. Anderson made a film career as a supporting character actress in several significant films including Alfred Hitchcock's Rebecca (1940), for which she was Oscar nominated for Best Supporting Actress. She worked with director Otto Preminger in Laura (1944), then with René Clair in And Then There Were None (1945). Her remarkable performance in a supporting role in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1958) fit in a stellar acting ensemble under director Richard Brooks.

Anderson was awarded Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in the 1960 Queen's New Year's Honours List for her services to the performing arts. Living in Santa Barbara in her later years, she also had a successful stint on the soap opera Santa Barbara (1984) and was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award in 1984. In the same year, at age 87, she appeared in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984) as the High Priestess, and was nominated for a Saturn Award for that role. She was awarded Companion of the Order of Australia in the 1991 Queen's Birthday Honours List for her services to the performing arts. Anderson died at age 94 of pneumonia on January 3, 1992 in Santa Barbara, California.

Kate Box is an Australian stage, film and television actress, Box was born in Adelaide, South Australia. She is known for her roles as Nicole Vergas in Rake (2010) and as Lou Kelly in Wentworth (2013).

Box is a graduate from the National Institute of Dramatic Art and her first stage performance was in 2004 as Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Bell Shakespeare Company, while her other theatre credits include the Sydney Theatre Company presentation of Top Girls which she received a Helpmann Award for Best Female Actor in a Supporting Role in a Play nomination, Dolores (Old Fitzroy Theatre), Macbeth (Sydney Theatre Company) and A Christmas Carol.

Keith Michell was an Emmy Award-winning Australian stage, television, and film actor. Born 1 December 1926 in Adelaide, South Australia, he was brought up some 150 miles away, in Warnertown, on the Augusta Highway between Crystal Brook and Port Pirie. He taught art until he made his debut on the Adelaide stage in 1947, following that up with his first appearance in London in 1951.

Michell was a member of the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre Company. From 1974-77, he was the artistic director of the Chichester Festival Theatre. He has starred in several musicals, including the first London production of Man of La Mancha (1972). In addition to his stage work, he appeared extensively in film and television in Australia and the UK, most notably as King Henry VIII in the six-part 1970 BBC series The Six Wives of Henry VIII (1970), for which he won an Emmy Award. A movie version was made in 1972. On US television, he appeared in various episodes of Murder, She Wrote (1984). He also paints and illustrates books, as well as written and illustrated cookbooks.

He died on 20 November 2015, aged 88, in Hampstead, London, England. A theater in Port Pirie, the Keith Mitchell Theatre-Northern Festival Centre, was founded in his honor.
