While his acting debut was at the age of 15, Diogo Morgado later became known internationally for his groundbreaking portrayal of "Jesus" in 20th Century Fox's feature film "Son of God" and in The History Channel's highly rated, Emmy-nominated miniseries "The Bible." Morgado's recent work includes the lead role in the Netflix original feature film "The Killer," which was streamed in over 190 countries. On television, Diogo had a recurring role on CBS' "CSI: Cyber," alongside Academy Award-winning actress Patricia Arquette, and starred in the TV movie, "Love Finds You In Valentine." Morgado was also a lead on the CW Network series "The Messengers." In addition to his work in television, Diogo has had leading roles in independent films in the U.S., including the action-driven adrenaline film "Born to Race: Fast Track," and the gritty urban drama "Red Butterfly."
In his native Portugal, where he is already a household name and one of GQ's "Men of the Year," Morgado's career spans top television, film and stage productions, including a lead role in the #1 rated Portuguese television series and International Emmy-winner "Laços de Sangue." Diogo began his career at the age of fifteen when he joined the cast of the top rated television series "Terra Mãe," But it was his breakthrough performance as "Miguel" in "Amo-Te, Teresa," which still remains as one of Portugal's highest rated telefims ever, that Diogo earned high praise as one of the most promising actors of his generation. Diogo has worked consistently in Portuguese television since, in over 15 series regular roles, including his memorable performance as "Santiago Medina" in the hugely successful series, "Vingança." Morgado's film credits include a noteworthy performance as Portuguese dictator Antonio De Oliveira Salazar in the acclaimed feature film "A Vida Privada De Salazar." Diogo was able to showcase his comedic chops in "O Crime do Padre Amaro," which received international attention from directors all over the world. Diogo starred in another hit comedy film, "Virados do Avesso," which debuted at the top of the Portuguese box office. Diogo is also a passionate theater actor and has had lead roles in prestigious plays such as David Hare's "Skylight" and Peter Shaffer's "The Royal Hunt to the Sun."
Beyond Portugal and the United States, Morgado has had lead roles in such international films as Spain's "Dos Rivales Casi Iguales," "Mami Blue," and "Star Crossed," as well as Brazil's "Revelação" and "The Jungle."

Joaquim de Almeida was born in Lisbon, Portugal. Son of two pharmacists and the sixth of eight kids, Joaquim showed signs at an early age that his future lay not in the family business. At the age of eighteen, after attending the theater course at the Lisbon Conservatory for two years, he left Portugal to pursue his studies after the Conservatory was temporarily closed following the 1974 democratic revolution. He lived a year in Vienna, Austria, working in various jobs from the Künstlerhaus-Theater to gardening. He moved to New York City in 1976. There, he studied with Lee Strasberg, Nicholas Ray and Stella Adler while working as a bartender. After doing some theater and small roles in Soap Operas, he finally landed his first role in a film "The Soldier" in 1981. The following year he had his first important role in "Honorary Consul", working next to Richard Gere, Michael Caine and Bob Hoskins. But it was his third film "Good Morning Babylon", directed by Paolo and Vittorio Taviani, that opened the Cannes Film Festival in 1987, that propelled him to an international career. Being fluent in six languages has helped him to work everywhere in the world. He hasn't stopped since then. He has been in more then 90 films and Television shows acting with actors and directors like Harrison Ford, Gene Hackman, Kim Basinger, Antonio Banderas, Robert Rodriguez, Steven Soderberg, Benicio del Toro and Kiefer Sutherland among others. It was while playing the main villain in season 3 of the popular series "24", that he discovered the pleasure of living on the beach and he moved to Santa Monica where he lives today. He spends long periods in Portugal where he has a house in Sintra to be with his son Louren and his daughter Ana. Joaquim de Almeida became an American citizen in 2005 and kept his Portuguese nationality. Maria de Medeiros is the oldest of three daughters by the pianist, maestro and composer António Vitorino D'Almeida and Maria Armanda Esteves. Her sisters are Inês de Medeiros, stage actress and film and stage director and Ana Medeiros, violinist, composer, and music teacher.
Studied at Lycée Français Charles Le Pierre, Lisbon, and when she was 15 years old, she acted in her father's movie, Silvestre. Went to Paris in 1984, aiming to take a college degree in the Beaux Arts, and ended by taking Philosophy, and Drama instead, at the National Schools of Arts and Theatre Techniques.
Lived and filmed in Portugal, and abroad, then she returned to Paris, where she is established since 1987. She married a Catalonian (Spain), and has two daughters. She acquired the French nationality because of her children, and because she has a French culture as well as a Portuguese one. Joana Santos was born on November 16, 1985 in Lisbon, Portugal. She is currently one of the best-known and most cherished Portuguese actresses by the public. Before becoming an actress, she did some work as model and it was through her agency that she did the casting for the NBP, which later opened the doors to the world of representation.
Her first role in television was in the soap opera Fala-me de Amor (2006) in 2006, but she became known in 2010 for the role of the evil Diana in the Emmy-winner soap opera Laços de Sangue (2010), for which Joana signed an exclusive contract with the TV channel SIC.

Lúcia Moniz, born on September 9, 1976, in Lisbon, is the daughter of Azorean musicians Carlos Alberto Moniz and Maria do Amparo. She began her music training at age 6 at Santa Cecilia Music Academy and achieved her 6th degree. Besides 4 edited discographic works throughout her music career, she has also collaborated with such artists as Nuno Bettencourt, Jorge Palma, and Maria do Amparo.
Lúcia has also developed a deep passion for the theatre. She made several appearances on Portuguese TV and on Portuguese stages, but in 2003 she made her major industry breakthrough with her role in Richard Curtis' blockbuster British film "Love, Actually." Between 2006 and 2008 she took on leading roles in several musical productions directed by Filipe La Féria.
In 2009 she participated in the television series "Living in Your Car", produced by David Steinberg for HBO Canada, in a Portuguese co-production by beActive.
In 2010 she starred in the series "Maternidade" on RTP 1, and debuted at the Portuguese National Theater D. Maria II, playing Stella in Tennessee Williams' "A Streetcar Named Desire", directed by Diogo Infante. In 2013 she was part of the cast of "Conversations After a Burial" by Yasmina Reza, directed by Renato Godinho.
During the next years, while still taking part on numerous television projects, in 2017, she made a long-awaited return to musical theatre, starring in "Next to Normal," directed by Henrique and Nuno Feist, on stage for 2 seasons, at Lisbon's Estoril Casino Auditorium and Teatro da Trindade.
Since 2016, Lúcia has actively worked with "Palco 13" (established theatre company) on and off, in several production, such as "Richard II", by Shakespeare. Gonçalo Waddington is a Portuguese actor, theater and film director, playwright and screenwriter. He was born in Lisbon in 1977 and studied theater and performance at Drama School in the beachside town of Cascais from 1994 to 1997. Still in school, he made his television debut in 1996, in Polícias, a TV show about a police precinct. His film debut came in 2006, with Marco Martins's Alice, having also played a part Martins's 2016 movie, Saint George. Waddington's short film Nameless, which premiered at the 2010 edition of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria International Film Festival. Immaculate, premiered at the 2013 edition of the IndieLisboa film festival. Albertine, The Celestial Continent, a play based in Marcel Proust's In Search of Lost Time, was his debut as a playwright, which he also directed and starred, alongside his longtime companion, Carla Maciel. He also acted in Odisseia, the 2013 comedic TV show Gonçalo created, co-wrote and co-starred in. Alongside Carla Maciel, he co-created the play MacBain, from a text written specifically for the two actors by dutch playwright Gerardjan Rijnders. It premiered in October 2013 at the Teatro Maria Matos in Lisbon. Margarida Cardoso's Yvone Kane, João Canijo's Misbegotten, João Leitão's The Portuguese Falcon, Ivo M. Ferreira's April Showers or Valeria Sarmiento's The Lines of Wellington were some of the other films that have featured him as a performer as well. Renato Pires, an Actor, Circus Teacher and Producer, originally from Lisbon in Portugal and now living in Eastbourne the South Coast of the UK.
Born in Lisbon on 29th June 1990, Pires became interested in acting when he played the lead in a Chapitô production "When the circus comes to the theatre" in a version of Faust where he played the Devil. He went on to undertake a three year degree in Acting and Circus Performing Arts.
One of the busiest and most popular working actors around, Renato always has multiple projects in progress and is currently working on a number of ideas and is in pre-production for his next movie.
As well as continuing with his acting and filming career with several films and theatre productions under his belt, Renato has also started and built up Acting Moon Events a highly successful event management company in 2014.
His first work as a director was in Who is it? (Lisbon, Portugal Chapitô in 2010) and 3 Chairs (Lisbon, Portugal Theatre Joaquim de Almeida), In 2012, he appeared in the

In 2014, Pires teamed up with Steve Price to embark on his mission to restore slapstick comedy to popularity by creating the Pires and Price series of films including shorts Pires and Price Gym, Pires and Price Singing Lessons and Impatient Patient Disorder also features Pires and Price alongside Britain's got Talent finalist ventriloquist, Steve Hewlett and celebrity voice over artist Drew Cameron. Also in 2014, he appeared in the musical film Walking on Sunshine.

In the same year, she worked with Javier Bardem in The Dancer Upstairs (2002), directed by John Malkovich.
