3 Steps Ahead originally consisted of Peter-Paul Pigmans and Rob Fabrie (DJ Waxweazle), but later Peter-Paul Pigmans started to produce under this name on his own. Pigmans aka 3 Steps Ahead was one of the biggest names in the hardcore techno scene and has made many famous tracks such as "Drop It", "In the Name of Love" and "This is the Thunderdome".
He got brain cancer in the late 90s and on the 18th of July 2003 a big party called "3 Steps Ahead 4 Life" was held where all the profit went to 3 Steps Ahead in hope that he would get better treatment and be cured. Unfortunately he died the same year on the 27th of August. A minute of silence was held for him at that years Thunderdome event.- A. Adriaan van Toor was born on the 30th of October 1942 as the younger brother of Bas van Toor. His brother persuaded him to join the circus. In 1959 they worked with the circustheater where they developed acts under the names: "The Melton Brothers" and "The Crocksons". Under that last name, they also recorded some songs. Rudi Carrel asked them to write material for "Pipo de clown" and they also performed on a tour for the "Nederlandse Spoorwegen met Willeke Alberti en Fred Kaps". In 1975 they went to the Dutch producer Joop van den Ende with the idea to create a television program for children. Emily Abigail Ashley Hoes was born on May 20th, 1994 in the city of Rotterdam. At the age of 10 she started taking singing, dancing and acting lessons at the Hofplein Children's theatre. After a couple of auditions for musical-theater she discovered that acting instead of singing was where her heart was and landed a role in a television commercial for Roosvicee soft drink. She made her screen debut in 2009 as Maite in the critically acclaimed "Maite Was Here". She went on to star in the films "Furious", "To Be King" and "Nina Satana" and had supporting roles in "Lover or Loser", "Tirza" and the award-winning "Finnemans". She was named one of the "Most promising young talents" of the 2012 Dutch Film Festival. In 2014 she won the Dutch Film Award (Gouden Kalf) for Best Actress in a Feature Film and in 2015 she was one of the Shooting Stars at the Berlinale, both for her starring role in "Nena". On television Abbey was featured in the popular youth series "Vrijland", "Spangas", "2012, The year zero" and had a recurring role in the series "Feuten", "The Black Tulip" and "Dr. Deen". She was the voice of "Violetta" in the Dutch version of the popular Disney series.
