Camilo Reyes survives an arson but his girlfriend doesn't. He is now living in the mountains. Arcadia realizes that her husband Arsenio has left. She hires a detective to find him and in the mean time tells him about her nieces.

Arcadia learns awful things about Arsenio from Rodolfo. Mariana visits her father in the mountains. Pamela pulls a stunt and thus meets Raymond Ruiz. Julia is having flashbacks of what happened at the fashion show. Camilo prepares to return to Caracas. Chiqui and Jacobo go to the cinema. So do Catalina and Lucas. Salvador wonders if Almendra has a boyfriend.

The nieces learn the news of Arcadia's suicide. Mariana encounters Camilo after they're both held at gunpoint and robbed. Miranda is on her way to Caracas. Pamela pulls another show for Raymond. Lucas and Tino become private eyes.

Camilo falls asleep during the bus ride to Caracas and finds himself alone with a note from the beautiful stranger. The nieces reunite for Arcadia's funeral and a big surprise stuns them all. Rodolfo brags to Fabián how he'll embezzle all the brothel's profits.

Arcadia and her nieces waltz in the brothel to Rodolfo's amazement and throw everyone out. Mariana can't put down Camilo's novel. Pamela brags to Julia and Chiqui about her glamorous life in the US. Lucas is an old buddy of Fabián and questions him about Arsenio's whereabouts.

Mariana enjoys the camera that Camilo gave her. Pamela resumes to lie about her lifestyle and pays a visit to a former lover. Jacobo encounters Catalina when Alejandrita bites Ulises. Miranda is fired. Fabián gives a lesson to Tino on how to hit on a woman but unfortunately picks a man eater.

The nieces decide to use the brothel premises to open a restaurant. Jacobo is angry with the loosed monkey in the flat. Rodolfo catches up with Camilo. Lucas watches a boxing match in a bar and when he returns home, refuses to help Catalia with a domestic problem. Julia receives flowers. Mariana is fed up with her fiance's jealousy and authoritative behavior.

Camilo makes a love confession. Rodolfo deals with the prostitute's strike outside his office. Catalina is introduced to Arcadia and they bond on the subject of flowers and other things. Julia lands a new client, who she already has met. Pamela has a drink with Raymond, who isn't what he seems.

Mariana and Rodolfo have a fight in front of Arcadia and the other nieces on the matter of women's free will. In order to blow steam, Rodolfo falls in bed with a former lover. Chiqui cooks beef for Jacobo. Lucas and Tino hire a secretary. Sagrario is angry with Almendra, who comes home late, accompanied by Jefferson.

Miranda works on the renovation of the future restaurant when an old flame shows up and this doesn't pass unnoticed to Pamela. Camilo gets the full police report on the arson. Mariana breaks up with Rodolfo. Catalina brings a present for Lucas' office and meets Yulessi. Julia asks Fabián why he sends her flowers.

Camilo is Mariana's new college professor and during lunch break he opens up about his past and the arson. Lucas runs over a cyclist, who turns out to be Salvador. Fabián restrains himself of calling Julia. Catalina cooks fish for dinner. Miranda is ambushed by Manrique at the store. Rodolfo wants to get Mariana back.

Camilo accepts Mariana's challenge and quickly arranges her first interview with an influential judge. Jacobo tells Chiqui about his rejected project. Cienfuegos shows Arcadia all of Arsenio's dirty secrets. Julia learns who is Fabián. Pamela does a photo shoot for Raymond. Rodolfo vows to kill Mariana if she has another man in her life.

Mariana thinks of Camilo and won't return Rodolfo's phone calls. Arcadia has too much expenses since the nieces are living with her and in the restaurant arrives Cienfuegos, Arsebio's ex. Jacobo gets an answer about his project. Catalina makes a rich breakfast but Lucas makes a rude comment on her appearance.

Mariana is in love with Camilo but when she returns home, the drawing room is full with roses from Rodolfo. Raymond is honest with Pamela. Fabián has been robbed. Jacobo defends his decision to quit his job in front of Chiqui. Camilo accepts to move in Rodolfo's flat. Almendra asks Sagrario to make up with Jefferson.

Pamela persuades Rodolfo to arrange for her an interview with a journalist. Fabián is angry with Lucas for arresting Próspero for the robbery. Mariana confides in Miranda about the awkward meeting with Camilo in Rodolfo's flat. The bank denies to give Arcadia a loan.

Mariana and Camilo discuss the whole mess and come to a decision about their relationship. Chiqui apologizes to Jacobo and asks Miranda to babysit Alejandrita. Lucas is very kind, apologetic and considerate towards Próspero only because of Almendra. Catalina convinces Arcadia not to throw into the street Cienfuegos.

Mariana is very sad and shares with Miranda all that has happened. Pamela encounters Camilo and gives an interview. Lucas brings Tino home for dinner and criticizes Catalina for not making a big meal. Julia is blown away by Fabián and his idea of just having a glass of wine. Manrique introduces himself to Arcadia under a false name and personality.

Camilo resumes his duties as a college professor while Mariana finds it tough to be around him and Rodolfo manages to convince her to accept the car. Pamela and Raymond join forces into posing as famous actress and producer as they go shopping. Lucas returns to Próspero his id and gives Almenra a ride to work. Arcadia is gloating over the ad she put in the paper. Jacobo looses Ulises.

Almendra demands an explanation from Jefferson regarding the painting. Julia lets her guard down. Camilo hires Lucas to investigate Lucia's death. Pamela poses in front of Mariana's camera for a photo shoot and brags about the remarkable journalist, who interviewed her. Arcadia is happy with the latest ad in the paper.

Arcadia has a dreadful night, discovering what Arsenio is really like. Camilo and Jacobo have a drink in a jazz club. Almendra tells Próspero everything regarding the stolen painting. Pamela shares with Mariana her life philosophy and questions her whether she's replaced Rodolfo with another suitor. Chiqui takes Julia out to shop for lingerie.
