Overall Summary- Scheming the Dream centers around a group of Central Jersey schemers, who attempt to coast through life by making it from paycheck to paycheck with as little work as humanly possible. The series portrays a relatable workplace atmosphere, where the employees' need for money totally outweighs their passion for their current job. Plot lines often include the show's characters getting in way over their heads in both their own personal and professional lives, as they continuously try to scheme their way through the American Dream. Episode 1 (The Pilot)- After a night of dealing with his meddling employees puts him in the doghouse with his girlfriend, Maria, Sally promises to spend more time with her by way of hiring a new night manager. His solution, however, does not go over well, as he plans on interviewing the cousin of possibly his biggest scheming employee- Ronny. Maria sees right through Ronny's charm and knows that this hire can only be bad for the business. Little do they know, their troubles may already be underway.
