Even after the discovery that the old mosque used to be a church and that the building was actually shared by the two religions in the past, the calm of daily life can be preserved - with Besnik's help. After the death of his father, however, drastic changes threaten Besnik's multi-faith family and the shepherd is forced to seek his own path.

- They are a married couple. They relay their own take on marriage, but in reality, all they can do is convey the story of their own relationship. However, their stories differ substantially and this makes the overall picture seem rather comical. The story starts the moment they are introduced to each other at their friend's engagement party. He, depicts himself as a predator on the prowl, while his wife portrays the contrary. Only certain details remain the same. They continue with the marriage proposal and the start of their matrimonial cohabitation, the birth of their child, and subsequent jealousy after he during one of his dreamy unconscious states mentions the name of one of his old flames. These matrimonial mishaps all relate to one another eventually. Their marriage is in crisis. Nothing is going the way it should. The situation is complicated further when the "photocopy girl" enters the equation. As expected, Ana has a different view on this from her husband. According to her, this girl ruins their relationship. After a heated scene of bickering and fighting their marriage hits rock bottom. She is seeking a divorce. They are separated for a period of time. They both suffer immense emotional upheaval because of this. They realize that separation is just too hard to bear. He makes the effort of reaching out to his wife. They try to make amends, but this is much harder than it seems. The cracks are already too deep. The arrival of their second child is the catalyst for stamping out old misgivings and an eventual rekindling of their relationship. At last, they come to grasp the moral of this story. They too will re-discover one another. They keep the flames of their marriage alight... but the fires don't burn flawlessly.... forever.
- Three little boys go out every day early in the morning from their home, make long walkways and go to Tirana to sell cigarette packs to the streets. Get on the road to Tirana during a break from fatigue, Egi one of boys tries to teach the alphabet and how to write to their friends. Egi develops an hour of learning in an old, dust-filled, abandoned machine in a field. After a short time, the boys take the box with cigarette packs and take the road to the city.

Without words, using the sound of echoing steps across the desolate landscape of southern Albania, the film creates an atmosphere of melancholia. Suddenly, we hear a newborn cry and experience the ritual of its baptising, done in a traditional way. All of the inhabitants of the small village are immediately busy, dedicating their full attention to the baby. They dance and sing in the way they have done for centuries on other festive occasions. But this happiness and fulfilment will not last, since it is the destiny of this baby, and all other youngsters, to leave the village to look for a better life elsewhere. As long as the old people survive, customs will be preserved. But what will happen after they pass away from this world? With superb cinematic language and sophisticated rhythm, the filmmaker creates the suspense of a vanishing, untouched landscape and the peacefulness of collective spirit.
