Her husband is very protective of her though. Mrs Tembe helps out at the hospital. One of the patients is rather obnoxious, he's the same man who Heston bashed over the head with a cricket bat! Karen convinces Elaine to take her, Immie and Jack power walking.

Simon is agitated as he awaits a call from the Hammond Case review committee. A depressed Immie goes shopping with Kayleigh, who leads her down a dark path.
- Julia is at home ill. Her pipes are also faulty. Unfortunately the new Chief Executive of the PCT is visiting the Mill. It falls to a put-upon Ruth to deal with him. Heston is only just out of hospital, but still pops into work. An old eccentric, poorly recluse has trouble from a badger-baiting youth. Daniel gets involved, then it all gets out of hand.
- After Mandy gets flashed in the park, his probation officer wife wants her to talk to him rather than calling the police. Al discovers that the graffiti artist is famous so it might be worth a bit, & Zara has a word with Karen.
- A mother brings her child into see Michelle. Michelle is concerned though, when the mother refuses to refer to her child as either 'he' or 'she', and dresses it in girl's clothes even though it's a boy. The boy's father-in-law is also very worried. Lily and Sapphire bond over some fossils.
- Sid attends an eventful DIY class. A foolish Jimmi spurns Erin's advances and is surprised by Will's new bloke. Heston refuses Ruhma's suggestion of having some wedding photos taken.
- The cast perform Dickens' A Christmas Carol on stage, playing multiple parts. God Bless them one and all.
- Valerie helps Amy after she finds her terminally ill dad in bed with a sex worker. Rosie wants Jimmi to meet her hot new boyfriend. Karen bothers over whether to take a new foster child over Christmas.
- Sid sees a girl who's asthma is getting worse, as her parents are divorcing. Al uses Zara and Daniel's house for an interview with Letherbridge Life magazine. Mrs Tembe wants to introduce a paperless system at the Mill.
- Al and Daniel are stunned as they get to the shocking truth of who is responsible for framing Jimmi.
