- This is a documentary about the life of a professional stripper. The stripper (Ilse Damsgaard), her home, life and husband are real. Sexual situations evolve out of the party scene, as the various couples (Japanese, American, Danish) pretend to be at ease. Of particular interest is the drama of Ilse's husband. A student who feels guilty being supported by her stripping, he leaves her but thinks better of it and returns.

How will it mark them that they continuously witness that their friends of the same age get killed?

- This story of a fictional north Vietnamese and American soldier as they went through the Vietnam war is told from the point of view of each soldier, using documentary footage and scripted segments. Striking historical footage from both sides is a highlight of the film, while the intermixing of the soldiers' penned accounts adds a personal note. Using a bit of magic as he dies, he is able to return to his home for a few days as a very vigorous ghost.

When the time comes to collect the child, the wife has the baby baptised right after birth, and the devil is foiled. In revenge, he sends a black spider into the village to spread pestilence and death.
