- After escaping the clutches of an abusive relationship, Katie reluctantly returns to the foster home she grew up in. Even a methamphetamine(ice) addict remains undetected by this dysfunctional group. Kalani's old friend Nalu returns to the island after 9 years in jail on the mainland to reconnect with the natural splendor of Maui. In doing so, he inadvertently triggers a change in Kalani and his family. It takes a near death experience for Kalani to finally realize what was missing in his life. In the end, it's all about family and living with the spirit of aloha.

While serving his sentence, Boye studies and becomes a lawyer whose career includes such transcendental legal cases such as the 11M trials, the Bárcenas case, his defense of former NSA adviser Edward Snowden, or the lawsuit he led against the George W. Bush administration, for the existence of the Guantánamo prison, among many others.

- As an early exponent of a new wave of auto-fictional writing, Tomas Espedal has established himself as one of Norway's most influential contemporary writers. In the documentary "I WANT TO LIVE IN MY NAME" we become intimate with Espedal as a writer and a human being, if such a duality is possible in the Espedal case. Director and cinematographer Lars Erlend Tubaas Øymo follows the charming Espedal through life and writing, from hiking in the french mountains, journeys to Gran Canaria and Provence and at home with his aging father, always via his typewriter at home in Bergen. The combination of Øymo's poetic and wild photography and music by Ketil Kinden Endresen, makes "I WANT TO LIVE IN MY NAME" a portrait that lives up to Espedal's self-proclaimed goal, to see what is beautiful.

- Welcome to the world of the petty Dublin criminal. There's Massive, Mags, the Byrne brothers and then there's Cal, a small-time crook who always has time to help the elderly even when he's robbing the local post office. Cal's number one fan is his young son David, who's following in his father's footsteps, to the great dismay of his mum. The principal of his school is looking for a reason to expel him, the guards are on his trail, and a rival gang want his luminous sneakers. When they all meet up in the principal's office, something has to give.
- Talking Hands is a story suspended between reality and poetry. A train ride through Italy from north to south to investigate the relationship of its inhabitants with legality and corruption. What results is a composite picture, where are the hands of the respondents to tell the stories, along a track that alternates the reality of the documentary with the abstraction of video art.

He lives with his wife, Lee (Diedre Madsen), who is slowly dying in front of him. And Taylor will do anything to save her life. Using household chemicals and drugs, Taylor administers a series of treatments that he hopes will cure his wife. But while he is able to slow the progress of the disease, he can not stop it. And as Lee's condition worsens, and the population around them dies out, Taylor discovers that the only thing that may keep her alive is his own blood. Within the claustrophobic confines of their apartment, Taylor begins to feed his wife. It is the ultimate sacrifice, but one that reveals the cracks in the couples relationship. And as the days run together, Taylor and Lee descend into a dark world of suspicion and mistrust. Making matters worse is the fact that others have survived the holocaust, mad souls who have been feasting on the flesh of the dead. After a run in with one of these cannibals, Taylor begins to fear that his blood is turning Lee into a monster. Taylor's fragile mind begins to crack. The isolation seeps inside his soul. And when he stops feeding Lee, the real nightmare begins.
