- BioDrama about the relationship between the painter Bon-woong and the poet Lee Sang. In 1932, during Japanese Imperialism in Korea, Bon-woong returns from art studies in Japan. He's a Fauvist painter who meets the strange man Lee Sang, at an exhibition of his work. They become quick friends, meeting most days and share interests. Lee Sang goes to a health resort for a medical treatment and Bon-woong follows, where they meet Gumhong and both fall for her. The poet loves her in the most base senses, but the painter's love is on a higher plane.
- Based on the 'not quite Sci-Fi, not quite a Romance' manga by the Fujiko F. Fujio. Yuko dreams of being a best selling children's author, but as an adult she has made little progress. In her depression, she bonds with Ginko, a roadside fortune teller who has had a tragic love life. Both die the next day but appear 10 years before with their memories intact. Will they choose more wisely or be sunk by new unfulfilling choices between career and romance?
- A couple who work together live in secrecy that they are planning to marry. Pak is more of a traditionalist and so Lee wanders the streets in frustration, until she looses everything. Anup's boss sends him to a rich official's office who needs a speech written. This man is Rajendra, brother of Gopa and husband of the birthday girl. The speech Anup writes goes well, so Rajendra steals Anup's manuscript for a novel and publishes it under his own name. Rajendra is praised for his insight into the issue of poverty, but the workers at his company go on strike. Anup and Rajendra's sister Gopa, support the striking workers, but his paid goons squelch the strike. Disillusioned by the hypocrisy, Gopa leaves her comfortable wealth behind to be with Anup.
- After landing operations, U.N. soldiers enter a village and violate Jeon-Rae. The villagers ostracize her but Jeon-Rae and her son Man-sik, struggle on in poverty. A U.S. military base is set up across the river and the prostitutes who service the soldiers set up a whore town nearby. At her wits end, Jeon-Rae seeks the advice of Yong Nyo and Soon-duk; two of the prostitutes. The Western cultural influence causes disorder to break out. The tension between the villagers and the whores reaches it's peak following the deaths of several village children. Will either side win the war between them? What will be left of the town? And will Jeon-Rae and Man-sik ever forgive being ostracized?
- Ki-tae and Cheol-su hang out on their ragged out car eating ice cream and checking out the girls. Hippo shows up looking for Crocodile, who is now in military training. Hippo decides he can use these two bums instead for his drug trade. They lose a bag of dope, are accused of stealing, and must pay for it. Even worse; they then take enough coke to make them rich for life and go on the run.
- A buddy comedy centered on a couple of 'salarymen' working for an Advertising Agency, who battle the unscrupulous practices of a rival agency. In classic Yoshimitsu Morita style, it's done with heightened slapstick that defies standard logic.
- Old man Victor, is a bore of a grocer who always tells sailing tales of the seven seas. None believes him, but his nephew wins a model boat building contest and gets to make the model into an actual boat. This is where Uncle Victor comes in, as a supervisor for the construction, and when the funds for the boat fall through, he even chips in to finish the build. Having been constructed in the backyard, however, makes it tough to get to the Seine River. The whole family has to chip in as one thing after another goes awry. What will become of the troublesome boat, and will Victor ever return to the grocery?
- Hyung Jun awakes one day to find his wife has left him, and he must care for his infant son Sang-ah. This is hard for Hyung Jun, as he thinks cooking, cleaning and a babies are women's work. Left with no choice, he takes his son to work with him, and the office soon gets used to the the baby situation. Hyung Jun gets better at taking care of his son, but when he has to work overtime, the only female employee, Ju Mo, helps look after Sang-ah. The two co-workers become close, but then Ju Mo finds out that that her seemingly perfect boyfriend is jealous. Will she go along with this or break up with him and return to Hyung Jun and Sang-ah?
- Mary Michon studied the routine of 6th grade from the back of classrooms for months, to see how children treat one another and think of adults. She visited urban and rural schools; met with parents and teachers. Michon used all her observations to create the fictional Timotheusschool, a primary school set somewhere in the Netherlands. Everything in the series is based on real events. Several of the 23 children who played the students were discovered during her research. Rehearsals were held every Saturday for a year, and filming was done during school holidays. Some topics like emancipation and the debate over sex education are typical of the early 80s, but friendship, divorced parents, or the Cito test - are timeless. Mylou Frencken (who played Marja), Barbara Pouwels (who played Ellen) and others from the show became professional actors. Sports presenter Jan Joost van Gangelen, was the toddler who played Jannie's younger brother.
- Akhtar, a professional hitman, is hired to murder Prabhi by Seth. Using his charm to get near her, he soon finds he's fallen in love. Unable to kill her, he pays a woodcutter the rupee he was paid to do the deed. The film ends with Prabhi being chased by the axe-wielding woodcutter - not showing how the situation resolves.
- In Japan, a group of classmates skip school and end up making their way down to the seaside resort. A day at the beach is always more fun than school, but when they run into three young women who are also on the make, their adventure really begins.
- Anniquin are Korean immigrants who work sugarcane fields in Mexico. In 1905, a group of Korean laborers dreaming of a paradise, are yanked off a ship to face deadly heat and slave labor. Chun-dong is the son of a butcher and Guk-hee is the daughter of a ruined aristocrat. Some try to escape the abuses of the slave drivers but most are caught and put to death. Some of the women get special treatment for favors. Chun-dong saves Guk-hee from such a situation and they fall in love, despite the social disparity. Chun-dong is sent home to warn of the terrible circumstances, but promises to return.
- Endeavors to reveal who the reclusive writer John Wyndham Parkes Lucas Beynon Harris was, through interviews with colleagues, flatmates, family friends and scientists. His life, as can best be constructed, is revealed and his body of work, once settling on the name John Wyndham, is analyzed and discussed. An actor portrays him by quoting things he wrote that have survived, and the only piece of footage ever recorded of him is examined. The emphasis is on what his personality may have been, the scientific ramifications of his themes, and the influence of his writings and the film adaptations of those, on later generations.
- Lieutenant Jang has plans for the weekend with his girl, but masses fighter planes from North Korea suddenly fill the skies of Seoul. It's June 25, 1950; the start of the Korean War. Despite the South's defense, the North Korean army bests them with high tech weaponry. We go from the invasion, all the way through the brutal battles to reclaim territory. The tragedy of war all told through personal experience.
- It's the 1800s, Mansuk lives in a village on the outskirts of Seoul as a butcher; but his main job is beheading those sentenced to death. Whenever political strife erupts, he's kept busy. The servant of a rich man pays Mansuk to behead his master efficiently. Mansuk violently rapes the beautiful daughter of the rich man who's to be executed. He hates the upper-class but keeps his promise to kill gently. After her father's death, Sookyoung and her mother are sold off as slaves. Mansuk hears of this and tries finding her for a long time. Eventually they live happily together but then another revolution happens. How far will Mansuk become entangled in the turmoil and what will become of Sookyoung and their son?

- Kichul is a wanna-be movie director, Minsu wants to design cars, and Dukman is a gestating noodle chef. - Magistrate Hwang's daughter Jin-yi, is jilted before her wedding because a shoe maker was smitten with her and commits suicide. Jin-yi becomes a courtesan, and becomes famous for her wits and beauty. She falls for Byuk Kye-su, but he's chosen to be an envoy to a far off kingdom. When he leaves she feels so betrayed she takes to a life of wandering. She meets Lee Saeng, a destitute scholar, and stays with him until she discovers he's going to sell her to a group of itinerate clowns. Instead, she joins them willingly.
- Jiro is in the 6th grade from a family of five. His father doesn't work and has a quick temper. Jiro gets violent with a student who makes fun of his parents. To get away from the incident and child welfare, the family moves to the father's hometown island. Here they get drawn into the an uproar over development plans for a resort. Mom and dad are arrested, but escape to live as fugitives away from their children. The children understand and support them.
- Madhurika comes back to Diamond Town, after studying in Bombay, svelte and fit in Western clothes. Her arrival comes just as the villain Kedarnath, has brutally seized power while the Prince is away. He was charged with weeding out local corruption but has become the Thugee boss instead. Unbeknownst to Kedarnath, he has a secret enemy named Diler, from a local band of dacoits, who survived Kedarnath burning his family home and gave an oath to avenge his father. Diler and Madhurika join ranks to deliver the town from evil, as she campaigns for women's literacy and independence.
- Several teenage boys at a roller rink try to work up the nerve to ask out a couple of girls. Meanwhile, some other boys deliver a stolen car to a garage and return to the rink, whisking the girls away to a Disco. Dejected that the girls went for more mature prospects with a car; the three boys get a taxi driver to buy them some liquor, then plot to steal a car. Drinking and cruising the main street in the hot car, the boys stop off at a pizza parlor and pick up a girl whose reluctant friend warns her not to join them. The boy who's driving decides they should try to find the Disco that the other kids went to, and they meet up with the girls and the older car thieves at a stoplight. A drag race ensues to the McDonald's that ends up in a horrifying accident. This after school special dramatizes teenage pride, alcohol and cars.
- An Englishman, bearing up to marriage and life with a stiff upper lip, suddenly remembers his promise to 3 shipmates. The day of their vow to meet 25 years later is almost here, and then the Irishman, Welshman and Scotsman will drink again.
- Baek Ho-bin jumps into an arranged marriage with Jane for a green card and a chance to succeed in America. Because she felt like an isolated foreigner, his love is a beacon of hope. When Ho-bin finally gets through the immigration process, his ambition runs up against Jane's love. When the pretense is over, his aspirations nearly destroy her. The two decide to take a farewell trip to the desert, but will they find passion or death?
- In a case of mistaken identities an unemployed thug (Yang-gu), and a doctor (Ki-min) on a career fast track; are mistaken for one another after an accident. Ki-min is thought to be murder suspect Yang-gu, and must go on the run. The thug Yang-gu excels as the Sky Doctor in a small island village. The story is a modern adaptation of the Prince and Pauper.
- Du-jin the sailor meets Eun-ju, the fish market girl who sells more than fish, at a bar. She escapes from Heuksan Island when he stows her away. The two get married on the ship and find marital bliss. But Madam Maigori has sent word so when they dock in Mokpo, Eun-ju is caught and sent to another island. She's shifted from one island to the next until settling on Younpyung Island. While her husband searches for her the island is overrun by boats, and there's more sailors than women. Eun-ju has to fill in and finds Eun-ju when she's sent to service a room. Ashamed, she runs off, and Du-jin follows. Will Du-jin be able to pay off hers debts? Will their marriage be broken apart?
- Poverty stricken Myeong-ho and first son of a trading company CEO, Bu-nam, attend the same university. A doctor recommends Bu-nam, who's ill from overeating, switch lifestyle with Myeong-ho for two weeks, who has malnutrition. They both fall for the other's younger sister and are married in a joint ceremony.
- Byung-tae suffers from Cerebral palsy and in trying to go sightseeing, ends up at the wrong destination. There he meets Min-wu and pregnant Chun-ja and decides to join them on their trip. Chun-ja is suicidal and makes a lot of trouble for Byung-tae. Chun-ja gives birth in a barn and the couple have and impromptu wedding. When they arrive in Chun-ja's hometown, Byung-tae heads to his original destination.
- An indifferent father in his 50s, discovers he has cancer and five months to live. He decides to keep it a secret and focus on organizing his life. The family have always felt he was distant and absorbed in his work, but this only grows worse now that he is even more focused; and resentments build. It turns out that preparing for death alone, makes him more bitter and drink to excess. Forgetting his wife's birthday, he arrives late and drunk; when his daughter angrily unloads on him. He just wants to rest peacefully, but now his home life is ruined. He decides there's no other option than to continue preparing for a painful end, and make sure his family are taken care of. Eventually, the family finds out about his illness, reconcile, and help him prepare for death.

- Susie goes to Guam to finalize her separation form her husband. She's welcomed to town by Peter Park, a con man who pretends to like her because he knows her husband is Howard Kang; the millionaire. Howard won't sign the divorce papers, so Peter bribes Dong-cheol to help; but when the plan fails Peter demands Dong-cheol kill him. Will Dong-cheol kill Howard or will he discover what's afoot? Will Susie and Howard divorce or get back together?
- Truck driver Mansu drives dreams of owning an orchard where he can live in peace with his mom. He is in love with Inok yet kills her ex-boyfriend by accident in a fight. Bumgu makes it look like a murder and gives him an alibi. Mansu wants to refuse but goes along for the sake of his mom and brother.
