- In a industrial town, one business firm stands out with good management. Thanks to agile director Todor's successful policy of "world breakthrough," the whole town looks forward to progress and incredibly quick prosperity in 1966. The director's driver Milutin is the center of absurdly-dramatic relations in which base manipulation dominates. His lonely, consequent, and reasonable admiration for Todor's honesty and goodwill bring him into situations to which he can't and won't adapt, nor will he quit.
- Two interlocking themes arise from this story: the theme of love, and that of man's eternal submission to traditional symbols. Director Zivko Nikolic continues his movie saga of human nature. Both themes develop the mythical idea of temptation. It is basic human relation: from the intimate to the families' vying with each other.
- In February of 1918, in Boka Kotorska, the greatest uprising of Austrian sailors broke out. Forty warships, with 6.000 sailors, rebelled against the Austrian Monarchy. The uprising was bloodily crushed after two days, and it's leaders shot.
- Lado Tajovic, a student, is charged by the communist party to go to his home in the Montenegrin Mountains, to illegally spread the liberation movement's propaganda. Alone, surrounded by enemies, always awake and ready to evade traps and ambushes, Lado fights on the verge of sleep, against people which are cowards ready to betrayal. He fights his own temptations, hallucinations that constantly besiege him. Although he perseveres in holding to party directives: no killing and no revenge, Lado at one moment of weakness falls to a primal human act vengeance.
- Partisans attack a column of hundred german trucks cisterns, that carry fuel to the front. However, their action is difficult, as Germans have chained Soviet prisoners to the driving wheels. The mission is to stop and destroy the column and save the lives of the prisoners.
- An ex-prostitute, now a washerwomen, asks for a pension for her previous "employment", which socialism, with its human principles, does not disapprove. To realize her right, she needs two witnesses, and she has many more. But none of them will testify. A whole society shows its selfishness, false morality, prejudice. She dies without realizing her great wish.
