- Bill Kent stumbles on a package of diamonds from an air wreckage and tries to sell them illegally through his wife's lover.
- Captain Edge reports, to the police, two men disposing a body on the sea bank. When the body can't be found his granddaughter asks Mark Saber for help. Saber and assistant Paul Paulson find the body and believe the suspects are locals.

- Mari Carmen asks Mark Saber to find her guitarist boyfriend, Antonio Peron, who has vanished. Saber learns a dead body was found by workers moving crates, at the dock. The body is unrecogisable but Saberis sure his boss, Gujaro is lying.
- A stockbroker asks for Saber's help when a large number of counterfeit £5 notes are discovered and their only lead is murdered. They finally catch a break when Dolly Day is caught spending £300 in counterfeit money in a shop.

- Mac has just been released from jail and intends to retrieve the Ormby Diamonds which he hid before his arrest. Marc Saber is hoping to get the insurance on the diamonds but notices Mac no longer knows where they are.
- Tim Shute loans his flat to his friend Fred Bassett, who is using it for an all night poker game. When Shute returns home he finds Bassett has been stabbed to death. Instead of going to the police his asks Mark Saber to find the murderer.

- A car crash, that killed her husband, left Mrs. Steel paralysed. The only thing she has left to live for is her son John. When he marries Carol, she works to break up their marriage. Finally snapping, Carol decides expose her as a fraud.
- Mark Saber is looking for American called Lamont, who has faked his death but is now believed to be in London and behind a Warehouse robbery. He has no record or picture so Barney O'Keefe goes undercover at the docks to find him
- Lacey, a theatre manager asks Mark Saber to act as a middleman and pay Ritchie Bonsell a £1,000 to leave the country. Bonsell, a former employee, has just served three years in jail for manslaughter. Next day, Lacey is found murdered.
- Mark Saber is shocked by the apparent suicide of his friend, Peter Kenyon who was found at the bottom of a cliff. Saber is even more surprised when Kenyon's secretary Miss Barnes comes to see him, claiming he was murdered.

- Crime boss Vince Menotti has never been convicted of a crime and thought he was invincible. When Tom Duggan escapes jail, during thick fog, Menotti is unable to flee the country. Still recovering from a broken leg he is now a sitting duck.
- Mr. Shaw is an house builder who has been hit by a string of arson's. He fell out with the fire service and asks Mark Saber to find the culprit. Mrs. Walston was sacked from Shaw's and she told her son Chester, who set fires in revenge.
- Amy Kubrick visits London to see the editor of the Daily Echo. They printed a picture of a man she recognised. He is Mason Crowder and later confronts him. Next day she is found strangled. The editor recognises her and tells Mark Saber.
- Freddy Benson steals diamonds smuggled in from Amsterdam and leaves the courier for dead. The courier reaches former Sir George Royston but dies. Royston has been in prison so decides to ask Mark Saber for help rather than the police.
- John Bellville rings Mark Saber but falls unconscious. Saber finds Kitty Bellville dead and John fighting for his life following arsenic poisoning. Harrison Kane comes forward to say he give them the wine. Saber must find the truth.
- A crowded train leads to Albert Bishop picking up the wrong suitcase. Opening it up he finds a blood stained knife. He contacts Mark Saber when he hears that jeweler Brian Miller's mutilated body has been found by train tracks.
- Australian John Wilton asks Mark Saber for help telling him that his father told him, on his death bed, that Wilton was not is real name. If he came to England he would be a rich man but the secret is locked in a bank vault
- Following a car crash, that killed three friends, Julie Forbes' father sends her on a sea voyage to Naples. During the trip, Julie appears to be going mad when she claims to see a man murdered. Nobody believes her except for Mark Saber.
- William Pelham, the accountant for Inter Dominion Builders jumps to his death. It's called suicide and his family will get nothing, once his gambling debts are paid. Mark Saber believes it's murder and sets a trap to smoke out the killer.

- Street artist Socrates Smith and Detective Mark Tower are unlikely friends. Tower is on the trail of burglar Longhair. During one robbery, Tower falls for Lady Carol. When she receives his love letters there can be only one suspect.
- Ross the Jewellers received an uncut diamond from Wainwrights worth £50,000. They polished it and courier, Jessica Roberts was taking it to Jonathan French to be cut. A car pulls up and a man steals the diamond. Mark Saber is called in.
- Accountant Roger Shore asks Mark Saber for help when his 8-year-old son Peter has been kidnapped. He is told to pay £1,000 but misses his contact. Saber stands in but discovers it is Shore making the calls and there is no kidnapping.
- The three Hadley sisters live with their grandfather. Dorothy and Bess are attractive and have many suitors. Older sister Gwen is plain and so decides to make up a romance. When Paul finds her secret he decides to blackmail her.
- Newspaper editor Albert Lake sacks his assistant Larry Spence after passing a story to the Courier. Spence blackmails Lake's mistress Marie Dickson but strangles her. When Lake plays down the murder in the Sentinal, Spence blackmails him.

- While in Monte Carlo, June Belmont is invited by Carlos Rodrigues to join him at the roulette table. June brings Carlos luck and they become partners. When Bob Carter arrives he attempts to get June away from her addiction.
- Mark Saber does not usually respond to threats, but when an unknown woman phones him and threatens to commit suicide unless he calls round within half an hour, he feels it is his duty to act. She takes Stevie hostage and gives Saber three hours to find her friend or she will kill Stevie.
- Wells is accused by Mr. Rodney of fiddling the books. He has to the owner Mr. Westcott returns to get the money. Later that day he finds John Brading dying in the street and decides to take his identity unaware he is a wanted murderer.

- Stamp dealer Ferrari is accidentally sold a Penny Black, with printers error, for well under it's market value. A desperate John Roberts tries to buy it back. When Ferrari is murdered, Roberts goes on the run and asks Mark Saber for help.
- Paper manufacturer Mr Wilson discovers his safe has been broken into but doesn't want to call the police. His secretary Miss Perry goes to Mark Saber because she saw there was at least £10,000. Safe breaker Mac discovers it's all fake.
- Fred Harris is distraught when his wife Martha fails to return from an outing. When the church roof money is stolen it looks like Martha has taken it. Next Mabel Scott is found murdered. The common denominator appears to be Fred Harris.
- Mark Saber is on a fishing holiday when chamber maid Rosie Temple begs for his help. Her son Dan has been arrested for the murder of Norma Farrington. Farrington's is the town's biggest employer and she fears he won't get a fair trial.
- A gunman bursts into the home of Julia Benton, the widow of a judge. He is waiting for Harry Christie. When Christie arrives he has just received a pardon from prison and blames her for his wife's death. He now intends to retry the case.
- Financier Oscar Brand sends his colleague Ferris, to France, find and eliminate black market rival Verner Sharpe. Drawing a blank they ask Mark Saber to find Sharpe under the guise of paying back a debt to an old friend.
- In Manchester, recently released convict Dickie Miller murders Arnold Brockley in an act of revenge. Brockley's pals Rusty and Dylan decide to take the body, on the overnight train, to London and fit up Miller unaware he is watching them.
- Maxine, co-owner of Henri's Beauty Saloon has been beset with a number accidents that is ruining their reputation. Mark Saber is called in to find out who is sabotaging the salon but soon realises this is a job for Judy.
- Joe Kelly meets Kathleen Grant to ask about his fiancee Jane's suicide. He believes that Jane's father, Uncle William is lying and asks Mark Saber to get to the truth. He learns that Kathleen has now inherited Jane's money worth £100,000.
