Richard Rawlings and prodigious mechanic Aaron Kaufmann seek out forgotten and abandoned classic cars for restoration at their Gas Monkey Garage.

Richard and Aaron pick up a very rare '32 Ford 3-window, but when they get it back to the shop they have a blow up about what they should do with it. Richard gets first option to buy his tattooist's '64 Econoline van for a "Swag Wagon". A donated '89 Shelby pickup leaves Richard in a quandary but Christie comes up with a great idea.
