There is more than mere amusement in this picture

A drama similar to "Madame X," which has had a favorable run in New York and other cities during the past year or two. It can be said for this film, however, that the people responsible for its production have eliminated much that is not required and have kept the salient features, emphasizing them in a way that makes them stand out clearer and makes the play far more real. The acting is done with sympathy and skill, while the mechanical work is up to the usual standard of the Great Northern people. There is more than mere amusement in this picture. There is a reproduction of dramatic work that is well worth seeing. - The Moving Picture World, November 12, 1910
