Just for any researcher trawling the web for info
about this film I can tell you that it about or contains incest. I found this in an article on American
censorship from October 1930, in the British film magazine Close Up. The critic was expressing
bemusement at the fact that this film was allowed to be shown in America while the Soviet film Village of Sin was banned, based on the claim that 'it doesn't happen here'. The American critic's point was that American films get away with more than foreign films in the US because of the US fear of 'insidious foreign propaganda'.
