    Warning: Spoilers
When playwright Anthony Moreno comes to town, he falls in love with Colleen Moore. She wants to be an actress and when she flops in tryouts as a wicked woman, she decides to go to New York to act the wicked woman. Of course she walks right into the middle of a gang war, but every hard-boiled yegg can see she is an innocent lady and treats her right.

Comedy expert William Seiter directs Colleen Moore in her next to last silent movie and out pops this very funny film, with fine titles and Miss Moore's typically funny performance.

There are a couple of nice smaller roles, including Gertrude Astor as a soft-boiled actress.
