Gilmurry is on the phone in his office. As he hangs up, he looks toward the door and has a surprised look on his face. In the next scene, the door is just opening, and Adam walks into the office.
When St. Johns and Adam are getting ready to leave for lunch, she is standing away from the desk holding her purse with both hands and turning towards the door. On the next cut, St. Johns is leaning with her back against the desk with both her hands behind her.
When Gilmurray visits Adam after losing the trial, Adam is at the beginning of trying to piece together a rather large puzzle with many pieces scattered around the desk. However, on the following cut after a brief conversation with Gilmurray, the puzzle is nearly complete with only a few pieces left to insert.
Incorrectly Regarded as a Goof: when Tony and Olga are in the restaurant, the $4.00 bill is not paid with a dollar coin; the actual payment is not shown on screen. The waiter returns the bill with a Morgan silver dollar on a tray as Tony's change, indicating the check was paid with $5. Tony then tips the waiter the dollar by waving his hand to refuse his change. This prompts the waiter to say "Thank you, Sir" and Olga to note, "There you go, throwing money away again." A 25% tip might be considered throwing money away, but paying a $4 bill with a $1 coin certainly wouldn't.
When Gresham goes to record Tony's call to Virginia, there are already grooves cut into the full disc, indicating it had previously recorded upon and cannot be recorded over.
When the African-American servant goes to Adam and announces that a "Lou Vean" is here to see him. Adam is confused by the name but then figures out that the servant pronounced it wrong and meant Levine. Problem is that the servant is well-spoken and articulate therefore he would be able to pronounce it correctly upon hearing it. It appears the filmmakers used a subtle stereotype in quest of a cheap joke.
Boom mic visible
When Dr. Gresham is sitting in the chair in Tony's office, then goes to get up, a shadow of the boom microphone is visible on the wall above and behind him.
The newspaper article announcing the breakup of the Bentley-Adam law partnership misspells Bentley's name as "Bently."
When Tony and Olga are at dinner, about ten minutes into the film, Tony pays the $4 check with a single Morgan silver dollar - worth only $1 at the time.
As Dr. Gresham is leaving Adam's office, Olga enters the office at the same time and loudly slams the door closed. Adam is looking down at some papers and without looking up says, "come in". Telling someone to come in is a reaction to a door knock rather than a loud door slam; thus, the reaction is an error.
