A little help from the wife.
Andy Clyde and his buddy are planning on getting an early start fishing. However, when Andy's adoring wife gets involved, though she says she wants him to go, she sure prevents him from going fishing. First, she makes the two friends a quick breakfast...and an hour later they STILL are at the house and not on the way. Second, when his boots turn out to be worthless, she insists they quickly run to the local store to buy a new pair...and they end up spending much of the day there thanks to a dopey and overzealous store detective (played by Fred Kelsey who ALWAYS seemed to play dopey cops and the like). Will the friends ever get to fish?
This is a mildly enjoyable short...not too many laughs but not bad despite this.
