Not a typical role for Bob Steele but with his athletic ability, he handled the circus routine with ease. Si Jenks as the henpecked husband, Abner Cricket was a former circus and vaudeville performer and had the line of the night when he's ogling at the circus beauties, "I got pushed up in there and I couldn't get out". Arletta Duncan plays well at Steele's love interest but caught in the crossfire with his dad, George 'Gabby' Hayes. John Elliott as the villain puts in his usual outstanding performance.
