When Saunders first appears in the film, he is carrying a guitar and singing. The guitar is not with him when he gives his horse to Faye Denton to make her escape, but he has it back when he is at the Denton's house and sings to the family.
The stagecoach drivers are robbed by Faye Denton in light-coloured clothing and hat. Yet later on they pursue Saunders as the hold-up man despite the facts that his clothing is all dark-coloured, he is taller and he is wearing a completely different hat.
John Wayne is attending to the sheriff. Next scene Wayne is seen riding down the hillside. What happened to the sheriff, here did he take him.
At 50 minutes, as Singin'Sandy chases the evil Kincaid, a modern power line/telephone pole, double poled high tension line, and even a radio tower can be clearly seen in the background. The power pole is to modern to even try to pass itself off as a telegraph pole, as does the one which can be seen by the side of the road behind Sandy as he gallops past.
