The movie had a preview on 26 July 1935, after which more than 20 minutes were cut from the film. After a second preview on 6 August 1935, another 12 minutes were cut. Most of the cuts were made from the opening scenes, the war montage and the courtroom scenes.
Ted Lewis and His Orchestra is credited in a full frame right after the title page and before any other credit. They are not in the comprehensive listing later on in the credits. Because of this, IMDb policy is to list them first, and to fill in the rest of the credits afterward.
