When Slayden gets dropped off by the taxi driver; he walks across the street to the Manor Hotel. But on the next cut when the taxi driver watches him crossing the street the building facade of the Manor Hotel now looks different.
When the cab driver recognizes Slayden; he grabs the newspaper and looks for a phone. But on the very next cut when he finds a phone booth; the orientation of how he holds the newspaper has changed. The newspaper is now folded.
As Capt. Rourke is detailing the case in the warden's office, he displays a snub nosed revolver as the murder weapon, and states Eagan was killed with it and a "silencer" attached to it. Silencers do not work on revolvers due to the gap between the cylinder and the barrel of the gun.
When the taxi driver goes into the store; he calls the operator to connect him to Police Headquarters so he can report Slayden. But the time that elapsed between the coin dropping and him talking to the police is not long enough for him to complete the entire action connecting with the operator and then for the operator connecting him with Police Headquarters and then for Police Headquarters to pick up the phone and then speak with him.
