About 30 years ago i hired a 16mm print of this film from a film library in Coventry .I seem to remember that this is about Bud and Ches on a boat that lands them in a banana republic in South America. Bud is i recall mistaken for the President of that country with all the usual complications. It is not their best but it is fairly amusing. Somewhere i do actually have on a reel to reel tape ,which i can no longer play, parts of the soundtrack. The strange thing about this film is that it is not available at all on video. I have all of their other films. A fire Has Been Arranged, made by the same studios has been shown many times on TV and was released on video. So why not this film? Obviously in view of what i have said above it is not a "lost" film. So if anyone out there has a copy or knows how to get a copy please get in touch with me.

I have at last in 2023 been able to view this film through the kind auspices of the BFI.

The film starts with singing the theme time to a theatre queue. All they get is a foreign coin. They decide to vomit suicide by jumping off a bridge and land instead on a cruise ship. They have to work their passage under the care of a rather hard chief steward.

The drip perform some of their familiar music hall routines. Bud disproving words for Ches to correct him..The left that's right routine. I There is a farcical boxing match.

When they land in the banana republic Bud saved the life of a general and is made a Colonel. He is abducted by revolutionaries bit saved the day by using crooked dice.
