When Prince John and the Norman Lords begin oppressing the Saxon masses in King Richard's absence, a Saxon lord fights back as the outlaw leader of a rebel guerrilla army.
Names of the second-unit directors only appear on the clapper in unused outtakes, which are featured on the DVD release of the film.
Town Crier announcing capture of Richard:
News has come from Vienna: "Leopold of Austria has seized King Richard on his return from the Crusades. Our king is being held prisoner. Nothing further is known. His Highness Prince John will make further public pronouncement tomorrow."
Why was Robin Hood deemed the winner of the archery tournament? As you recall, all other archers were eliminated except Robin and one other. During the final round of the competition the other archer's arrow hit the bullseye dead center. Robin Hood then shot and his arrow split his competitor's arrow and Robin Hood was deemed the winner. Technically, both arrows hit the exact same spot in the center of the bullseye so why was Robin Hood declared the winner?
