Coincidently Larry Kincaid is the name of the character whose murder is a key plot point in both "Michael Shayne, Private Detective" and "The Ox-Bow Incident." Ironically, three actors, George Meeker, Paul E. Burns, and Dick Rich, appear in both films.

The stylish convertible driven by Marjorie Weaver is a 1940 La Salle, the last of its line; only a few hundred were sold.
