The part of Dai Bando, boxer played by Rhys Williams is shown with his full sight. Yet when he accompanies HUE into the mine to find HUE's father, Dia Bando is blind. There is no explanation in the film for the cause of Dia Bando's blindness. As he leaves the pub, to go to the mine, it is said his blindness is due to too many blows to the head.
