    Warning: Spoilers
I'd have never believed that Nazi Germany could have produce one of the funniest films I've ever seen. It is basically a movie of mistaken identities born of the fact that both Hans Brauswetter and Karl Ludwig Diehl both share the same name, Johannes Petersen. Lucie Englisch(who reminds one of a young Vivian Vance) and Theo Lingen steal the show as the maid and butler who have to correct the mistakes!I don't want to give anything away in a movie that everyone who loves classic German movies should see at least once. Basically, Irene Von Meyendorf (Marion) has a date with Hans Brausewetter (Johannes Petersen I). Lili Murati(Julia) her best friend doesn't. Hans's car breaks down, and stands up Irene. Julia finds out and attempts to come to Marions rescue, and arrives at the apartment of Johannes Petersen II. That is where the mistaken identities begin. One flawlessly funny film.
