The film that deserves to go to DVD
This is one of Carmen Miranda's films that deserve to go to DVD for scores more to enjoy. The latest rumor to hit the DVD release community is that there are talks to release this to DVD. Although it's script is campy and Ms. Miranda butchers the English language; the film is still light hearted and filled with wonderful musical numbers. If you're lucky to catch this on TMC or AMC you defiantly need to watch this if 40's MGM musical's are you thing. This film was right in the middle of Buzby Burkley's success in lavish musical numbers and that alone is worth the viewing. This film also marks the Carmen Miranda's noted, "Lady in the tutti fruiti hat" song.
